Prince Kaybee spills out the many years it takes for a music artist to make it in the industry.
Taking to Twitter, the DJ, probably speaking from experience, says it takes 6 to 7 years of mainstream presence to make real money.
“It takes 6 to 7 years of mainstream presence to see real money in the South African music industry, you really need a good catalog and consistency,” he tweeted.
However, not all agreed to his fact.
You only need consistency and a good marketing team… You dont need to wait 6 six years like in the old days with social media and Streaming services in your pocket… You just need good music and proper marketing… I’ll start to go through my struggles this year✌
