KZN social development MEC, Nonhlanhla Khoza on Monday voiced out bitterly regarding the rampant case of gender-based violence and fermicide, thereby urging men to stand up to fight, in protecting women.
According to her, women have put much effort to end this horrible act, but it seems effort made are not yielding positive result and changes.
“We plead with our male comrades and counterparts to stand up to find out what is wrong with the males. We expect them to lead these marches. We want them to initiate programmes to say they are going to protect us.”
Khoza said it was clear that there was deep hatred of women. “I can see it with individual who have been killed,” she said.
