Her sanitary pads are manufactured by a black female entrepreneur, whose company is run exclusively by black women.

Lerato started donating in Hammanskraal, Tshwane, on Friday by donating 200 sanitary pads to a non-profit organisation called Ubuhle be’Ntombi zeNgcuce.

As part of her 67 minutes for Mandela, LKG together with the Mayor of Ekurhuleni Mzwandile Masina, distributed sanitary pads with an estimated worth of R120 000 to communities in Daveyton, and donated 12 000 pads to surrounding areas.  They also donated 67 food parcels and 3 000 face masks.

Sharing on her twitter account she wrote,

“Thousands of FlutterbyLKG pads where distributed in Hamaanskraal, Ekhuruleni and KZN. Women’s sexual and reproductive health are not just women’s issues, they are societal issues. Flutter’s main objective is to uplift our society, one female at a time. The journey continues…”
