Dj Fresh has released a media statement regarding his court case against Ntsiki Mazwai.
However, Dj Fresh, a media personality and Ntsiki Mazwai, a controversial poet and singer are in a court battle over alleged ‘false rape allegations’.
This is coming after Ntsiki posted on her social media platforms accusing DJ Fresh, whose real name is Thato Sikwane, of being a rapist.
Dj Fresh took to his twitter to upload a statement setting the record straight against the court case after his social media backlash against him.
A #SueUsAll campaign erupted as activists expressed their displeasure with the alleged trend used by SA public personalities to get away with rape allegations by using the court procedure to silence their victims.
In his recent statement, DJ Fresh, who is between a rock and a hard place from social media attacks to ex-girlfriend public meltdowns, has sought to pledge allegiance to Ntsiki’s cause.
However, he denies the unfounded claims levelled against him that he is a rapist and, says he used the court as his last resort in clearing his name as a rapist.
Ntsiki had earlier refused to delete the social media post where an anonymous alleged rape victim came out about her experience with The Big Dawg.
The alleged rape victim is thought to be his ex-girlfriend Penny Lebyane.
She, however, denied involvement in the claims and is also seeking DJ Fresh to clarify why she was involved in his court battle with Ntsiki Mazwai.
DJ Fresh says it was apparent that Nstiki Mazwai published the allegation without verifying the facts and wants her to retract the statement.
