Award-winning DJ, Prince Kaybee took to his social media to post a video of himself with star Rethabile Khumalo.
This video has made a lot of their fans excited about the magic the two were working on.
In a twist of events, it now seems that there is some hot tea brewing behind the song.
DJ TruMpeT took to Twitter and shared the first version of Isivunguvungu ft Rethabile which is now the song Umlilo hitmaker is working on with Prince Kaybee.
The DJ explained that he is not saying that anyone stole the song or anything but if Winnie Khumalo, Rethabile’s mother and manager could talk everyone would be shocked.
Prince Kaybee’s and DJ TruMpeT tracks are only similar in lyrics not beat.
In a tweet, Prince Kaybee explained that Rethabile came to the studio and recorded on a beat he gave her and did not let him know she had previously recorded with someone else.
“I apologize for this, I have called her mother and told her all about this. I’m really sorry bafo🙏🏾” shared the DJ.
The popular DJ also shared a conversation with Winnie where she alleged that the DJ was fired over disrespect.
Prince Kaybee has said that he will be re-recording the song with new vocals and most likely not with Rethabile because he is “out“.
