Since the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) nominations were announced, a lot of people have been unhappy and now tweeps are calling for the long-running awards to fall.
Poet Ntsiki Mazwai took to her social media handle to join the growing calls Awards to fall.
This is coming after the nominations were announced and many Mzansi faves were omitted.
However, a lot of people reacted as the hottest artists in Mzansi at the moment, Master KG, was snubbed for his viral hit song Jerusalema.
Taking to Twitter, the controversial poet said that the SAMAs are controlled by industry men with no talent “but usually sleep with the talent“.
The samas are controlled by a bunch of industry men who themselves have no talent but usually sleep with the talent#SAMA26MustFall

The controversial personality isn’t the one calling for the SAMAs to fall many tweeps agree with Ntsiki and have shared that numerous artists such as Riky Rick and Babes Wodumo have spoken out about the unfairness of awards.
Recall, Babes Wodumo called out the awards show after she lost out on the award for her debut single Wololo.
Babes is Zulu and she didn’t win a SAMA….so I don’t understand those who are saying #Jerusalema didn’t win a SAMA because Master is not Zulu and is From Limpopo…..”Zulu, Zulu” everything Ninya Kabi!!#SAMA26MustFall pic.twitter.com/n4MXE8TV7V

Ricky Rick told you what’s going on behind closed doors, Cassper Nyovest told you about Radio, Grammys gave Macklemore awards over Kendrick Lamar, so winning awards doesn’t mean anything anymore. pic.twitter.com/NzNaYcDBB4— 🏷️WILLOW (@WILLOW_CD) July 26, 2020
