Shauwn Mkhize has remembered her mother in a heartfelt social media post whom she described as a role model.
She shared on Instagram on Thursday, 30 July to tell her followers and fans how she misses her mom.
The flamboyant businesswoman shared that she became emotional when she came across an old photo of her mom. MamMkhize, as she is affectionately known by her friends, dedicated Thursday to her dearest mommy.
“I would like to dedicate today to my mom, my role model, rock, mentor, qhawekazi lami. I wish I could be half of what you were. I love you and miss you a lot I wish God could have given us more time with you, may your soul rest in peace.”
The star said she will forever be grateful to her mom for everything that she taught her.
Shauwn encouraged her followers who still have their mothers to cherish them.
“I live for you and try very hard to make sure that the footprints that you created will forever exist… Those who still have their mothers please cherish them.”
