Four suspects arrested after being linked to the murder of three people in Olievenhoutbosch, Centurion are expected in court on Friday.
They are to appear before the before the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 7 August 2020.
On Thursday, forensic experts exhumed what seemed to be human remains from a yard in Olievenhoutbosch, Centurion on Thursday.
According to the police spokesperson, Brigadier Mathapelo Peters said the youngest suspect, a 17-year-old confessed that he worked with the adults to murder the three people and hid their bodies in shallow graves.
The teenage boy approached the police on Tuesday, 4 August 2020 and confessed that he, his mother and two other people killed three people and buried them in the garden.
The alleged victims are the woman’s elderly son and two men she had been in a romantic relationship with.
The teenage boy also said that his brother was murdered after he witnessed one of the murder and threatened to report to the police.
“Apparently the boy hit the boyfriend with a hammer on his head and the mother hammered his limbs to weaken him. They claimed they killed him because he was telling people that the woman had killed her previous boyfriend”, Khalushi said.
“The possible grave has since been declared a crime scene and has been cordoned off to avoid any tampering until the crime scene experts from the forensic science laboratory of the SAPS have processed the scene”
“At this stage, experts have discovered remains that will be forensically analysed to determine that indeed they are of a human being. The digging is still underway and will continue in anticipation of finding three bodies as per the suspect’s claims”
