Talented Skeem Saam actor, Buhle Maseko has taken to his social media to speak on how he has been criticized severally following his weight gain.
The star stated that he had to choose to be healthy because of those who throws shade at him because of his weight.
Recall, the actor came into lime light after he bagged the character of Nimza Kunutu on the show.
“Because of the pressures of showbiz and me being in a top show, people used to make rude comments about my weight. I’ve now decided to change my image and live a healthy lifestyle,” he said.
Buhle said he has decided to reduce some fat to avoid depression and also to be able to secure more gigs as some of the brands might not want to work with him due to his weight.
I decided to do something because I don’t want it to depress me.”
Buhle now weighs 68kg from 99kg and he says he still hopes to lose more weight.
