South African sportscaster, Minnie Dlamini finds herself in hot water after commenting about her new hairstyle.
The star shows off Bantu Knots new hair-do and gushed over it.
However, claiming that the hairstyle is ghetto got people across Africa continent dragging her.
Flaunting her new hairstyle, she said: “Just because it’s ghetto, doesn’t mean it’s not fabulous. Loving my #BantuKnots.”
A Nigerian media personality named Toni Tone said: “We feed into racism and hair discrimination when we say things like this. Absolutely nothing is ghetto about natural black hair styles – whether that’s Bantu knots, locs, braids, etc. We need to destroy this notion.”
