The World Health Organization (WHO) said the possibility of people contracting COVID-19 virus for the second time is on a very slim chance.

This is after there were reports concerning a man from Hong Kong who got COVID-19 contraction for the second time.

The man (33-year old) got reinfected with COVID-19 just after he conquered the virus for more than four months but now has a contrasting strain of the virus.

Margaret Harris, WHO spokesperson said despite the significance of the finding(s), she is laying off concerns that the finding(s) could trigger a new surge.

This is one documented case in over 23 million and we will probably see other documented cases.”

But it seems to be not a regular event, we would have seen many more cases,” Harris said.
