Two men allegedly stab other to death in Durban during hot argument

In a weird incident which happened in Durban, two people lost their lives after they allegedly stabbed each other to death.

The police said this incident happened on Sunday evening after a heated argument between two 25-year old men led to a knife fight.


Police spokesperson Capt Nqobile Gwala said, “It is alleged that the two men aged 25 were at Snake Park pier on 13 September 2020, when they had an argument.”

“They both drew knives and fatally stabbed each other.”

The cause of the argument is not known but investigation is ongoing.

“Charges of murder were opened at Durban Central police station for investigation,” said Gwala.

The bodies of the two men were taken away from the scene by mortuary services shortly after 10pm.

According to the police, one of the men was found face down in a sand dune, while the other was found on the pier.

The two had multiple stab wounds which must have led to their death.
