Nandi Madida released a new single this Friday titled, Organic and it’s produced by her husband, Zakes Bantwini.
The cover of the single has the couple topless and it captured hearts.
The song is more of a family composed song, as one of their child, co-worked on the single.
However, after releasing the new song, Nandi explained the inspiration behind the title, supported with a photo for more explanation.
“he reason I wrote #Organic is because African women have been appropriated but never appreciated. Everything we have is organic and we are truly magic.”
The multi-talented star says the song is dedicated to Sara Baartman.
Sara Baartman was the best known of at least two South African Khoikhoi women who, due to the European objectification of their buttocks, were exhibited as freak show attractions in 19th-century Europe under the name Hottentot Venus.
