COVID-19 in SA: 1,767 new cases recorded with 67 more fatalities

In the past 24 hours, the Department of Health has recorded 1,767 new infections, which takes the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 674,000

Sixty-seven more patients have succumbed to the coronavirus in South Africa, which takes the death toll to 16,734.

In the past 24 hours, the Department of Health has recorded 1,767 new infections, which takes the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 674,000.


The recovery rate is now standing at 90%, which translates that 608,000 people have recovered so far.
