A 36-year old man, who is suspected to be the killer of a Northern Cape boy, is expected to come before court on Monday.


After a four-year old boy was declared missing this weekend, he was later found concealed at the home of the suspect in Warrenton town.

Police said the body of the boy was found in a box concealed with a blanket.

On Saturday morning, after the little boy went to a local tuckshop but didn’t come back home, his family declared him missing.

The police’s Mohale Ramatseba said:

An intensive search was launched, and police followed up on information, which lead to the discovery of the body.”

The reason behind the murder of the little boy is currently being investigated.

Authorities mentioned that the suspect is in no way related to the victim.
