Oskido has announce the passing of his father, Esaph Mdlongwa.
The star made this known on his Twitter handle in the early hours of today revealing he died of deadly virus, Covid-19.
However, Covid-19 has caused the death of many and those who were able to come out alive through the pandemic are grateful to God.
But in Oskido’s case, his father was not able to survive it.
He said: “It’s with great sadness to let you know that I have lost my old man due to COVID19, a great man who inspired me to understand the value of life. So long Mdala, rest well. I will see you again in the next lifetime. You’ve shown us a way & shone the light Akwehlanga lungehlang, His post was filled with messages of condolences to him and his family following their loss.”

Oskido’s friend, DJ Fresh also sent his condolences to the family and thanked his late father for giving the world, Oskido.
“My friend and mentor @OskidoIBelieve has lost his Dad!! Please keep him and the Mdlongwa family in your thoughts and prayers!!! Every single time we met, I would thank him for giving us Oskido, coz through him, 1000s of careers were forged!! #RipNtateMdlongwa.” he tweeted.
