Court has postponed the corruption case against former Correctional Services’ public officials and Bosasa executives.

Court proceedings on the matter was postponed to late November.

On Friday, Former Correctional Companies Commissioner, Linda Mti, CFO, Patrick Gillingham, and former-Bosasa CFO Andries van Tonder appeared in the Specialised Crimes Courtroom in connection to a R1.6 billion tender corruption case.

Meanwhile, their co-accused, Bosasa executive, Angelo Agrizzi was not present in court docket.

Agrizzi was denied bail on Wednesday.

He is unlikely to make it to court docket due to his poor health condition.

He was admitted to a hospital on Thursday.

They all face several charges in connection to cash laundering, corruption, fraud, and conspiracy to commit fraud.

Court postponed the case against them to 26 November, because of Agrizzi’s hospitalisation.
