On Saturday, another woman was discovered dead in a bush

On Tuesday, The Delft Community Policing Forum (CPF) mentioned that its residents had become ‘desensitised’ to the ongoing murders taking place.

On Saturday, another woman was discovered dead in a bush.

The main suspect, who is her boyfriend, was still out there at large.

A woman’s body, full of blood, who is believed to be in her 30s was found in a bush in the Leiden area.

It appeared that she was strangled and her identity is yet to be confirmed.

The Delft CPF’s Charles George said cases like these ones are too rampant.

It has become the new norm in our community in a sense of people being murdered almost on a daily basis, and the fact that they have been murdered this type of way,” George said.

George mentioned that the community is relaxed about attacks.

We have become desensitised to the violence. When there is a shooting, the kids come out running to see what is happening unlike in the past when we would hide when we were young,” he said.
