On Wednesday, Nigerian nationals who are based in South Africa voiced out against human violations following the gunshots spree on protesters by police in Nigeria.

A group of Nigerians that stay in South Africa are set to get involved in the #EndSARS protests in solidarity with the protesters that experienced with crossfire on Tuesday night during the protest against police brutality and the special anti-robbery squad (which has been disbanded).

On Tuesday night, witnesses claimed that soldiers rained fire on them (protesters) in Lagos with several reports that said about 20 people were dead already.

Nigerians mentioned that in their home country, no single office has been prosecuted by the authorities yet, following the evidence that surfaced that its members keep on imposing torture and other il-treatment on civilians.

One woman on Wednesday said:

How do you open arms on children, of the people who have refused to fight for the dignity of a nation? How do you open arms on people who have left their homes to sit at a place to say ‘give us what we want in this nation’? The one who calls himself the leader or the president of a nation who doesn’t have any respect or remorse to come and address the people.”
