On Thursday, Limpopo police apprehended five suspects, who are believed to be aged between 45 and 56, linked with the murder of two businesswomen shot execution-style in Polokwane.

Last week, the women were murdered with bullets opposite a warehouse when they got attacked by unknown gunmen.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo mentioned that during the arrest, the police seized a vehicle, two firearms, and thirteen live rounds of ammunition.

The deceased, Makoena Mabusela-Leshabane aged 46 and Tebogo Mphuti aged 35, were shot and killed in execution-style at Magnavia, Polokwane,” Mojapelo said in a statement.

The suspects will also be charged with possession of illegal firearms and ammunition. They will appear in Polokwane magistrate court on Monday, 26 October 2020.”
