Police in search of missing Southern suburbs girls

Police are currently in search of a 15-year-old Asemahle Fufu, who was last seen at 5.30 pm on Saturday, October 23 in Riemfasmaak Phumlani Village, Lotus River.


It was established that her mother took away her cellphone shortly before her disappearance, and Fufu was last seen wearing a long-sleeved brown jacket. This was paired with knee-ripped blue jeans.

In another case, the police are also in search of missing Cortney van der Ross, who was last seen on Saturday, October 24. The teenager is said to have left her home without telling anyone at 5 pm and was last seen by her cousins at her uncle’s home in Grassy Park.

Some time ago, Van der Ross was put at her uncle’s home by SAPS’ Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Investigations Unit.

It is not yet known what she was wearing and she has not yet returned.
