Things you don’t know about the new Miss SA 2020

Shudufhadzo Musida was recently crowned Miss SA 2020 and the world at large took to their TL to congratulate the star.


However, many do not know much things about her but let’s look at a little information about the newly crowned Miss SA.

Musida was born on born July 18 1996 (aged 24) and she hails from Ha-Masia in Limpopo, a village located in Vhembe District Municipality.

She has a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Pretoria.

Musida is currently doing a BA Honours in International Relations at the University of Witwatersrand.

Miss SA’s mother, Thandi is a real estate agent and she has a 13-year-old sister, Zwonka.

Musida is a fashion model and she started her modelling career when she was 17.

She has shot for various brands and campaigns, including retailer Woolworths and skincare range Eucerin.

She was even featured in Vogue Italia back in 2018.

Musida had never taken part in a beauty pageant before.

According to report, Musida says she was inspired to enter after seeing Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi wear the crown last year.

Shudufhadzo is passionate about economic empowerment of both women and children.

She believes that the Miss SA platform will be fundamental in amplifying her social activism.

The best part about it is that she does not shy off from speaking up about her course.

In fact, during her Miss SA 2020 acceptance speech, she made the following remarks about the same.
