It is learned that a security guard was injured while disturbing thieves who tried to steal a vehicle.
The incident took place at the Key West Mall in Bedfordview.
In the second incident, several shots were fired at a vehicle on the Linksfield bridge.
No one sustained injuries and the police are probing into the matter.
