Nasty C was nominated BET Africa’s Best International Flow at the 15th annual Hip Hop Awards but seems luck was not on his side as he losses to British rapper Stormzy.
Although, this is the second time Nasty has been nominated in the same category but lost at first also to Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie.
Even with the fact Stormzy won the awards but South Africans are still proud of their favorite, Nasty C.
The Hell Naw hitmaker went up against Kenyan artist Khaligraph Jones, the UK’s Stormzy and Ms Banks, French stars Meryl and Kaaris, and Djonga from Brazil.
According to a statement by Monde Twala who is ViacomCBS Networks Africa expressed how trilled he was after the awards recognized talents all over the world.
“We are thrilled to announce the 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards and to recognise artists from around the world in the Best International Flow category. The diversity of international talent is testament to the impact of the power of music and culture globally.
