On Wednesday, the Western Cape police believe that during the cause of the investigation into the murders of three people in Wolseley, more bodies could be found.

Three bodies were found in the local informal settlement last weekend.

One of the bodies was identified as Bernadine Frans but the others are yet to be identified.

The police said the man who was caught dragging Frans’ body has confessed to killing her and two others.

The accused, Siyamnkela Sobambela appeared in the Wolseley Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

He is facing three charges of murders.

Office of the Western Cape Police Commissioner said there could be more victims.

The National Prosecuting Authority’s Eric Ntabazalila said:

“He has been charged with three counts of murder. More charges are likely to be added as the investigation continues. His case has been postponed to 9 December.”

Some members of the community angered by the news of the triple murders burnt down the caravan where the accused lived.
