Five suspects who were arrested for the murder of a family on a smallholding in Hartswater in the Northern Cape are expected to return to court in December.
These suspects were arrested after Danie Brand, his wife Breggie and their daughter Elzabe were murdered in July.
The bodies of the elderly couple Brand and Breggie were found in Takaneng Village and after an extensive search, 50-year-old Elzabe’s body was discovered in a field in the North West.
“The five accused face various charges including three counts of murder, robbery and kidnapping,” said Northern Cape NPA spokesperson Mojalefa Senokoatsane.
