#LadyZamarMustFall: Ntsiki Mazwai defends Lady Zamar following dismissal of rape case

Musical Artist, Ntsiki Mazwai has decided to voice out following the rape allegation Lady Zamar opened against Sjava which has been thrown out by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).


Recall, in 2019, Lady Zamar opened a rape case against him claiming Sjava raped her but Sjava denied the claim as he tells his own side of the story.

The issue went on and on not until recently the news came out that the case has been dismissed.

Limpopo police spokesperson Col Moatshe Ngoepe stated that the case against Sjava was declined for prosecution on November 5.

He revealed: “Last year the case docket was handed over to the senior public prosecutor for a decision. On November 5, the case docket was withdrawn by the director of public prosecutions at court.”

According to the NPA spokesperson Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi, he said there is not concrete evidence to arrest and charge Sjava of rape.

“The state declined to prosecute the case because it believed the facts or evidence do not support a successful prosecution.”

Well, Lady Zamar was all over social media as many felt the case shouldn’t have been dismissed that way while others accused her of lying against Sjava bringing about #LadyZamarMustFall trend.

However, Ntsiki had to expressed her feelings after hearing the news and the fact Zamar has faced a lot of bullies she is definitely on her side.

The activist said:  “I still believe her” and “I stand with Lady Zamar.”

“They say you must fall because like millions of women you couldn’t bring your broken soul as evidence….I’m sorry you’re going through this Zamar. Am so heartbroken,” Ntsiki tweeted.
