First African original Netflix series, Queen Sono won’t be returning to your screens anymore, as it’s been announced that the season two has is cancelled.
The 1st season got lots of South Africans and even people from other countries hunger and anticipate the release of the second season.
Some months ago, the movie star, Pearl Thusi teased followers with the announcement that a 2nd season will be out.
However, due to the complications that came with COVID-19, the production will no longer continue.
Speaking to Channel24, a Netflix spokesperson said: We’ve made a difficult decision not to move forward with season 2 of Queen Sono.”
He further appreciated the Diprente team behind the series and fans across the globe
The 1st season which attracted high ratings from people was shot in 37 different locations, which include, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Zanzibar.
