5 ways to initiate conversation with your man after a fight



Every relationship has its ups and downs. If you are going through a rough day thinking of the fight you had the previous night with your SO, then instead of fretting, it is time to do something about it.

You both had an argument and you’re confused on what to do, or how to kick off a conversation with him, opt for one of these methods to start talking again.

Here’s a list of them below:

1. Make a meal plan

Simply show up at his workplace and ask him to lunch, coffee or dinner, depending on when you can make it. Over the meal, have a good time, letting go of the rough conversations of the previous night. Ensure you don’t drag the fight unnecessarily.

2. Text him

It works! Just text to say how much he and your relationship mean to you and that you know they mean a lot to him too. A little reiteration of faith in each other can go a long way after a fight.

3. Call

The age-old way of calling a person will never go out of fashion. Be bright in your conversation, and cut the blaming, go straight to making the point. You need to talk to him, and want to make up.

4. Surprise him

It doesn’t have to be grand, but what the word means, unexpected. It could be a note hidden in his wallet, his favourite fragrance delivered to him at his workplace, a greeting card, anything personal which can only be from you. It has to have your unique touch.

5. Apologise

If you know that this time you are the one who escalated a mole hill into a mountain, then it pays to own up and apologise. Being egoistic hasn’t served anyone’s purpose. You know you love him, and it is only a matter of time in admitting that you were wrong.
