South Africa footballer, Motjeka Madisha finally gets laid to rest today, 6th of February, 2021.
Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana defender will finally be laid to rest at his home village of Ga-Madisha Leolo in Zebediela, Limpopo this morning. Newzroom Afrika’s Philasande Sixaba is in Zebediela.
According to a report, Madisha’s coffin is placed outside the family yard, and a family representative said that in Sepedi culture when someone dies of unnatural courses, their remains cannot enter the yard during the funeral.
