5 things about your relationship you should never post on social media

Yes, everyone is free to post whatever they want and feel like posting on social media but when in a relationship, there are certain things about the relationship people shouldn’t know about.

Some of you make it so obvious to the world that you’re having issues in your relationships and it’s really not cool. This can cost you your relationship, especially if your partner doesn’t even support you posting about them often.

Here are some things we think should be kept between you and your partner:

1. Your sex life

I promise you. Nobody wants to know about how sexy your man or woman is in the sheets and how kinky y’all are. If you’re not a sex therapist, we don’t want to know the details about your sex life on social media. It’s really gross and quite annoying.

2. Your arguments

The world doesn’t need to know that you got into a heated argument with your partner. You need to keep it to yourself or talk to your confidant about it because you might go and say some things you wouldn’t be able to come out from online and people will always have receipts. You don’t know who’s out there taking screenshots.

3. Every. Single. Thing.

You know the people I’m talking about. You both just woke up = pictures/videos. You’re preparing breakfast or going to buy food = pictures/videos. Every. Single. Thing. That happens during the day between both of you, the whole world knows. Why?

4. Make out pictures

Physical intimacy is important in every relationship, but the definition of intimacy, “very private; closely personal,” means that it should be shared between only you and your partner.

5. Personal information

If your partner shares a secret with you, like something about his or her past that’s deeply personal, it’s because they trust you enough. That is not something you should go online to talk about with strangers on the internet.
