1. Get moving

Exercising can make you feel good, debloat you and flush out the water weight. Exercise makes you sweat and sweating helps get rid of water from your body.

2. Eat less processed food

Processed food is full of salt and salt as we all know is the culprit for excess water weight. Thus, it’s best to limit your processed food consumption. You will be surprised to know that three-quarters of your salt intake comes from processed food.

3. Eat more potassium

Sodium and potassium balance each other. Potassium is also important to regulate blood pressure. Potassium is one nutrient people don’t get enough of. You can increase your intake of fruits and vegetables to maintain the potassium levels in the body.

4. Add magnesium

Magnesium is an electrolyte that helps regulate the fluid balance in your body. Include avocado, leafy greens, almonds and beans in your daily diet to maintain your magnesium levels.
