Bishop Makamu steps down from duties

Bishop Makamu voluntarily steps down from his duties on Moja Love after being caught in a viral video asking sexual favours from an unidentified woman.

After the video went viral, social media users called him a hypocrite, as he’s failed in practicing his teachings.

The Bishop who hosts popular show Rea Tsotella on the channel is set to quit in other for proper investigation to take place.

Moja Love shared an official statement announcing that Makamu has stepped down, and the channel is not in support of such behaviour in the recording.

“Moja Love has accepted Bishop Makamu’s decision to voluntarily step down from the channel pending an internal investigation…On consultation with the channel, Bishop Makamu maintains that he is innocent and says that the recording dates back to 2017.”

“He says the lady in the recording worked for him and their conversation was not sexual in any manner, and it was altered to extort money from him,” the Head Of Channel says.
