South African rappers have decided to expand their horizons as they launched their own TV shows.


They however, made other titles to their names and expanded their brands.

These rappers are making sure their audience are growing more and have added television host and executive producer to their titles.

Having a show has also opened doors to so many who have interest in it.

AKA – The Braai Show with AKA

AKA’s ‘The Braai shows’ with AKA was first launched on his app AKA TV.

The show was launched in 2020 on SABC1.

The show gained an amazing number of views on its first episode.

It pulled 2.8 million views on its first episode.

Khuli Chana – The Originator

Khuli Chana launched his show, ‘The Originators’ on Trace in 2020.

It had A-Reece as its first guest.

The star created the TV show during the lockdown period, and his creative team helped.

Nadia launched her TV show, ‘The Naked Room’ in collaboration with Channel O under her own production company Bragga Productions.
