Jacob Zuma has a huge cult following and they are loyal, as the former President’s supporters were seen waiting outside his home in Nkandla, northern KZN.
Zuma who was surrounded by amabutho later appeared to the supporters, and he was seen holding his traditional stick.
Some of the ANC leaders and friends were there to show their support – Suspended ANC secretary general Ace Magashule, chairman e Zikalala, secretary Mdumiseni Ntuli and regional chairman Dladla were there.
Zuma didn’t speak to the crowd, but his son, Edward addressed the people, saying that everyone should get ready to fight.
“Let us be ready to fight. The time to talk or negotiate is over.”
ANC Ehlanzeni regional leader, Micheal ‘Ngrayi’ Ngwenya says himself and other supporters are willing to die for the former president, and no one will touch him. He said their main purpose of coming together is to defend Jacob Zuma from the biased constitution.
