Former Bafana Bafana midfielder Reneilwe ‘Yeye’ Letsholonyane has officially retired from professional football.


On Thursday, the star ended his 15-year career in a legendary manner, with a video he shared on social media.

Reneilwe has been planning his retirement a long time ago, as he started some business partnerships with his former teammate and friend at Chiefs‚ and 2010 World Cup star‚ Siphiwe Tshabalala.

Letsholonyane played 331 league matches‚ scoring 31 goals and providing 30 assists through his career.

Yeye is married to SuperSport football presenter Mpho Letsholonyane and they are blessed with two children.

The retired footballer trends on social media as people celebrate and appreciate him for the many years of giving his best.
