Simphiwe took to her social media to announce the passing of her mother.
The star expressed how heartbroken she is as she thank her for raising her well.
Simphiwe is also grateful at the same time for her mother’s grace that was instilled in her and her siblings.
In June, Dana revealed her mother tested positive for Covid-19 and had a comorbidity.
She had diabetes but was handling the virus well.
Simphiwe tweeted: “Our wonderful mother, MamJoli, left us earlier today. We are wounded, but grateful for the grace with which she raised us and all her other adopted children. Please hold us in prayer”
Although, she did not reveal what the cause of her mother’s death was but many of her fans tock to the comment section to send their condolences.
