Most children are fidgety and restless, whenever something needs focus or concentration. Parents often find themselves yelling and punishing kids for the same.

However, that’s not exactly how you deal with such problem. Here are some ways you can help your child stay focused, build concentration and ace in whatever they do in life.

1. Introduce them to games and puzzles that require concentration

While children are innocent, their minds have the power to grasp knowledge very easily. All they need is a push, something to stimulate their brain. To improve their concentration, you can always encourage them to play games and indulge in activities that require focus and concentration. Thinking games like jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, picture puzzles can boost their concentration levels. Additionally, you can introduce them to board games, such as chess, Ludo, etc and also familiarize them to tongue twisters.

2. Invest in wholesome, nutritious diet for the

Diet plays a very important role in maintaining your child’s concentration power. If your child is hungry, they’ll likely stay distracted all the time. Besides filling up their stomachs, pay attention to what you feed them. Green veggies, fatty fishes like salmon, berries and fruits are great for your child’s brain health and memory.

3. Stick to a routine

When you’re a parent, following a schedule is very important. A routine not only helps you manage your time, but it also keeps the child focused on the things he or she has to accomplish in a day. Whether it’s study time or play time, they know when to do what if they follow a plan.

4. Rest is extremely important, ensure they get plenty of it
