Company-wide holidays are not just a concept in the modern world, but a reality for many!

Going on a trip with your colleagues may seem too good to be true, but there are ample companies who are taking up this approach to maintain cordial relations within the co-workers.

The long working hours get very exhausting with every passing day and sometimes, our bodies just can’t take the work stress. And that’s when, all we want is a vacation to feel happy, refreshed and energised.

So, many companies across the world have introduced company-wide vacations to encourage people to take care of their physical and mental health.

Destructive work-life balance

Ever since the whole world has rushed into a competitive stance, workers have been working non-stop to increase the productivity of their work and company from all aspects. With additional long working hours, there comes a lot of stress, anxiety and worry that workers can’t occasionally deal with.

This also leads to ignorance of physical and mental health, resulting in further problems that weaken the health dynamics. What tops it all is that a large percentage of employees are not satisfied with their jobs. Either the pay is not up to the mark or the stress and workload are way too much for them to handle. Adhering to such reasons, most of them are really unhappy.

However, businesses and companies with the highest engagement have been winning. Managers who look out for their employees in terms of their health have seen a greater productivity scale on their charts. This means, the company has given the employees the space to maintain their professional and personal life.

In addition to that, a company that celebrates every win of their project or client success gets higher employee satisfaction. Small gestures of appreciation are necessary to keep the employee spirits high. And so, if a company plans a company-wide vacation for all their employees, it will give everyone an opportunity to relax and celebrate working in the company.

This may be a costly option, considering the travel costs but this will guarantee greater employee output. Even if it means the business has to close for a few days. This is also a great motivational tool for all employees. If companies can focus on employee satisfaction as well, it can increase the number of employees who will retain their jobs in the same company in the near future. A happy team of employees means greater productivity and success!
