Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa gave South Africans snippets into their lives before fame and wealth during an interview on a YouTube show named, Crowning Moments
The two briefly talked about how they hustled hard before breaking through into the music industry.
At age 17/18, the King of Amapiano did jobs like cutting grass, fixing sewage drains; he worked for the Municipality.
While Lawd Phori sold sweets at schools, and made R150 daily; at some point he delved into gambling, but it dealt with his pocket till he had to stop.
Kabza said hustle wasn’t easy back then, but here they are as DJs.
