Why using tea bags can be good for the eyes and how to use it

It may sound strange to some people hearing this for the first time. However, using tea bags on your eyes is a popular home remedy that most people do not know about or even try to curb some eye problems.


While you enjoy those green tea, the end product can be of great benefit. Amazingly, tea bags are an affordable, natural option that you can easily try at home. Placing them on your eyes gives you the chance to rest and unwind.

Furthermore, a study found out that tea bags may help to improve the appearance of the eyes by reducing dark circles as well as redness. Interestingly, they may also help to treat irritation and pink eye.

Although, the type of teabag to use play a vital role. While several types of tea can be used, it is best to use organic tea to avoid any form of chemicals that may not be good for the eyes.
