Bonang Matheba has released an official statement after winning the case against Podcast presenter, Rea Gopane.
In 2021, the media personality legally went against Rea after he spilled alleged false claims about her on his podcast.
However, Rea has been ordered to pay R300k for damages plus the legal costs of action.
Bonang made it clear that she had warned him twice to desist from such statement but he ignored making her to take legal actions.
The star said the judgment made to Rea will be a lesson to those who uses their social media to defame and humiliate others.
She further said that she will be donating the money to Bonang Matheba foundation.
