It has sadly claimed the lives of millions of people all around the world and is still claiming a lot of lives.

Diabetes is a disease that is caused as a result of bad habit and poor diet and it could be also be managed through out habits.

So in this article, I am going to be talking about some of the worst drinking habits you should avoid when suffering from diabetes.

1. Adding sugar or sweeteners to your tea

If you are diagnosed of diabetes, one of the worst drinking habits you should avoid is adding either sweet or sugar in your teas. This is mostly because sweeteners and sugar are bad for your health and have been proven to be the major cause of diabetes. It would be quite foolish for a person to keep adding sugar to his or her meals even after noticing this fact.

2. Starting your day with a blender coffee drink

Although pure coffee might have its benefits to people with Diabetes but blended coffee has been proven to be higher in calories and sugar which is very unhealthy for the body. It is important that you watch your habits towards this.

3. Adding too much fruit to your smoothies

Fruits could be very effective in promoting better health of people with diabetes, if they are used as meal replacement. But when you add them to your smoothies which already contain large quantities of calories and are really high in sugar, it becomes very harmful to the health of people with conditions like diabetes.

4. Juicing

Juicing is a habit of bringing a lot of fresh fruits and putting them in a juicer in other to get some fresh fruit juice. This sounds quite healthy but it is not especially for people with conditions such as Diabetes.
