Lesego Tlhabi has taken to her Twitter to express her thought about Amapiano.
The star made it known that she is tired of the genre and that she misses grooving with different other genres.
In her words, Lesego stated that she has nothing again Amapiano but she wishes that hip hop DJs should play other songs aside from that and musicians should release new alternative genres.
Many also agreed to her thoughts and shared their experiences.
Lesego tweeted: “I won’t lie, I miss when groove had different genres of music. 7 hours of Amapiano is a lot. No matter how dope some of the songs are Yoh. Where are the hip hop DJs pls? The Afrobeats babes? Kwaito huns? Variety asseblief. And nothing against Amapiano coz a great set can go innnn but please release us with alternative genres ”
