DJ Maphorisa has taken to his social media to let the world know that he needs to be appreciated for making a big sacrifice for Amapaino.
Amapiano genre has taken over the world and many South African musicians have been able to show what they are made off with the genre.
Taking to Twitter, Maphorisa revealed that he has suffered for the kids to eat properly in the entertainment industry.
In his words, he said people should remember that if he was not there, the game will still be the same.
The DJ stated that he took a big sacrifice to fight for them and they are all doing well now.
Maphorisa concluded by urging the artists to appreciate him while he is still alive.
