Andile Ncube speaks highly of Bonang Matheba despite paving way for her into the entertainment industry when she was 19-year-old.
Speaking on Sphectacular and DJ Naves’ podcast, the TV personality spoke about how he met Queen B and how she’s good at her job.
“I was doing very well for myself and I was living in my penthouse on the 5th floor. I went back down and found Bonang as she was walking out of her room because she was shooting So as I was walking into the studio, the image of her smiling and waving saying hi, never left.
“Two days later I asked everyone at the office, who is that girl,” then he said someone told her she was there to audition for the Lotto but was too young because she was 19.”
“I don’t want credit for doing my job. My job was to find the very best co-anchor for this show and I found it. The accolade is in what she is doing, that is my remuneration. She needs to do better for me to even feel better,” he said. He then added, “she is the best of our time!”
Bonang also acknowledges Andile as the man who made her dream come true.
