Mbali Mavimbela is reportedly leaving the Showmax series, The Wife.
The actress will be exiting the series after playing the lead role in two seasons.
Twitter blogger Phil Mphela broke the news and it got people talking, though the reason behind her exit is yet to be revealed but it was rumored by a few social media users that she’s pregnant.
Phil reacted to the update with, “The Wife without Mbali will be a tad strange because she really dazzled in this role. The move could also be temporary, should they get more seasons. If they don’t recast in her absence, I would want to see her return.”
