Omuhle Gela has taken to her social media to react to Uzalo audience rise.
Entertainment Commentator Phil Mphela has revealed that Uzalo has witnessed an audience bump from their slump in May ratings.
Despite the effects of loadshedding they have managed to pull 6.1 million viewers glued to their screens as their new storyline unfolds.
This is compared to their slump in 5.8 millions views in May. This is quiet remarkable because other shows have been battling to keep up with the new norm
Reacting to the news, Omuhle said she is grateful for the love and support she is receiving.
She said its her first time doing a show on Mzansi Fosho and she is grateful that her first one was the biggest show in SA.
Omuhle went on to give a shout out to the cast and crew that welcomed her to the family.
She wrote: “No load shedding formed against us shall prosper πͺπΎ Id like to genuinely thank my supporters on social media and in person. It’s my first time doing a show on @mzansi_fosho and by Gods grace my first one was the biggest show in SA. The love out there has been so real and overwhelming. Yoh!! Also S/O to the amazing cast and crew I found there for welcoming the new family with open arms and making us feel at home. Thank you for your endless DM’s and for showing love and support to my craft. God bless”
