Bonang Matheba gets applauded by Twitter users after Nathi Mthethwa compensated Banyana Banyana with R5.8 million.
Over the past months, the media personality has been firing the Minister of Arts, Culture & Sports over his poor performance in the office.
A few days ago, Bonang slammed Nathi again after he tweeted a congratulatory message to the South African’s women national soccer team for winning the 2022 Women’s African Cup of Nations.
“Because NOTHING has been done since 1996! Imagine the nerve!! Swooping in to celebrate a VICTORY you didn’t cultivate!! Find a new job,” she wrote.

Upon the arrival of the girls at OR Tambo international airport on Tuesday, Nathi was one of the officials who welcomed the team back home, and it was reported that the crowd booed him off while he tried talking.

However, he ensured he compensated Banyana Banyana with R5.8 million which was a shock to some social media users who assumed that Bonang’s pressure must have worked on him, hence the TV star was appreciated.
“Bonang actually influenced this. We should thank her for it. @Bonang the wallet was opened by Minister Nathi Mthethwa and Banyana Banyana was compensated for their efforts. All because of you. God bless you Queen,” a Twitter user wrote.
