No matter what people say, taking care of the lady parts is as important as taking care of any other vital organ in the body.


But that doesn’t always have to be chemically treated feminine wash, as like every other organ, looking after the vaginal health naturally is always a good idea.

While maintaining good hygiene and regular gyno visits are enough to maintain a perfect PH balance down there, there are some food items that will help the ladies keep UTI and bacterias at bay.

Be it infections or discharges, these foods can help one take care of vaginal health.

1. Kimchi

Kimchi is quite in the trend these days and one will be surprised to know that apart from adding flavour to our food, having kimchi can benefit our health in many ways. Probiotics are good for maintain the pH level down south and thus kimchi is good too for fighting infections and keeping the sleezy bacteria at bay.

​2. Cranberry

Cranberries protect the vagina against UTI. Since too much of cranberry juice can lead to yeast infection due to sugar, there are some pharmaceuticals who have introduced cranberry juice pills that have been proven to be affective against fighting UTIs. According to research, a single pill is equivalent to several glasses of cranberry juice and can really prevent bacteria like E.coli from settling in the vaginal walls.

​3. Greens

Eating green leafy veggies is the cure to almost every issue in the world. Being rich in magnesium, spinach and all the other greens are good for increasing blood flow throughout your body. This enhances stimulation and circulation which also helps in preventing vaginal dryness.

4. Sweet potatoes

6. Water

Drinking loads and loads of water and hydrating is really the solution to all woes. Since vagina cleans up pretty much by itself, drinking water helps with it. Drink up as much water as you can as it not only ensures a perfect pH balance, but also helps in lubrication.
